Description

Map of current UNK buildings overlaid with TB hospital buildings. Building 1 is the "Stone House", which is known as the G.W. Frank House today (2023). Building 2 is the "Pavilion," which was demolished in the 1960s. Building 3 is the "New Hospital Building," which is known as the Communications Center today. Building 4 is the "Boiler House," which is known as the West Heating Plant. Building 5 is the "Green Cottage," which became Welch Hall and was demolished in 2020. Building 6 is the "Central Heating Plant" and was demolished in the 1990s. Building 7 is the "East Sun" building and is known as West Center today. Building 8 is the "Administration Building and Men's Ward" and is also known as West Center today.
